Relational Counseling

Relational therapy is for people who are experiencing distress and distance from their family, professional, social or intimate relationships. The struggle may be due to experiencing mood disorders such as anxiety, depression or one is suffering from low self-esteem and personal insecurities. In relational therapy an individual learns how and why they are pushing people away. The focus of the relational therapy is to explore individuals’ history of emotional issues, learned behaviors, power differential patterns from past relationships, and their impact on present relationships.

Relational therapy can also help If you are struggling with trust, lack of communication, balancing roles in the family, breakup, divorce, seeking closure after divorce, contemplating divorce, struggling to have and maintain healthy boundaries, seeking functional co-parenting with your ex, launching new chapter in your life but don’t know how to love or trust again, having boundaries and codependency issues with adult children, and/or parental conflicts with adult children.

Relational therapy as Individual counseling and coaching sessions are offered as 45, 60- or 90-minutes sessions, that provide an in-depth psycho-social assessment to know you holistically and beyond the presenting issue. The session contains discussion of present concerns, struggles and the course of treatment. You may choose a 45, 60 or 90-minutes session. (60 or 90 min session as initial session is recommended)
